- Day 1: Travel to Ssese Islands via Nakiwogo landing site, Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Ssese Islands via Nakiwogo landing site, Entebbe.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you can opt to first explore Entebbe town and its surrounding natural resources. Entebbe is another historical city of Uganda – the first capital of the country, located on the shores of Lake Victoria, in about 40 km from Kampala – the current capital of Uganda. So, there’s a lot to explore and learn from, right from colonial times.
You can opt to visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center – a collection center with samples of most the wildlife species in Uganda, where you will traverse through different mammals and bird species gazetted in a semi-natural habitat.
While here, you will also enjoy your mid-morning brunch before being transferred to Nakiwogo landing site, for your afternoon boat cruise to Ssese Islands, and check-in at the lodge.

Day 2: Cycling, quad biking, sport fishing and island hoping.
After your early morning breakfast, you’ll embark on a cycling tour of Buggala – the main Ssese Island, before returning for refreshment. We shall then proceed for mid-morning quad biking experience before returning for lunch and afternoon relaxation.
The afternoon and evening are reserved for island hopping, where we shall visit a few nearby other islands that make up Ssese islands, to have a first-hand and organic island and fishing life experience. You shall visit a few attraction sites, including fishing villages and waterfalls in addition to guided nature walks. You won’t miss out on aquatic and forest birdlife.
Then return to your lodge on Buggala Island.

Day 3: Guided nature walks, Cultural, historical and religious sites tour and a visit to the Kalangala Oil Project.
After your early morning breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided nature walk and community visit across Buggala Island – the main Ssese Island. This shall also include a visit to some cultural, historical and religious sites, before returning for lunch.
The afternoon and evening are reserved for a visit to the Kalangala Oil Palm Project, palm plantations, and Kalangala Oil Palm Growers’ Cooperative Trust (KOPGT). Afterwards, you shall proceed for evening beach activities and relaxation, to enjoy picturesque moments and sunset view on the shores of Lake Victoria.
You will also enjoy an evening campfire moment, to share memories with your colleagues, before spending your last night on the island.

Day 4: Early morning departure back to Entebbe.
After your early morning breakfast, you’ll get on an early morning boat cruise back to Nakiwogo landing site in Entebbe.
Depending on your departure time, you can opt to tour Entebbe town or the Uganda Wildlife Education Center.
You can also opt to visit the Reptile Village – which is home to a number of rescued and habituated reptiles, followed by a leisurely tour of Botanical gardens – a sanctuary of a number of forest and water bird species, giving you a glance at Lake Victoria – the largest inland lake in the world.
You may also visit the Entebbe Crafts Souvenirs Market for some artifacts as your souvenirs, before heading back home.
